Wellness Hotels in Costa Rica, Two Great New Finds

My new friend Joyce Dillon, RN just got back from Costa Rica in search of a location for her next wellness retreat there in August. Joyce is a wellness coach focusing on babyboomers and has a wonderful website Healthy Living and Balance. She scoped out two Costa Rica wellness oriented hotels that I thought our readers should know about.

Hola: I just returned this weekend from Costa Rica where I am planning trip for the next “Living Life To The Fullest Retreat and Contest” for Midlife men and women. I am so excited about finding several new hotel and spa facilities in Costa Rica and connecting with a new tour company to help plan a private in home cooking event for the participants.
If you are in the Central Valley be sure to check out Vista del Valle 
Plantation Inn and/or Xandari resort and spa. Both of these hotels are 30-40 minutes from the international airport. I found them both to be very relaxing & quiet resorts set amidst stunning botanical gardens, wild orchids and trails leading to waterfalls. Some of the best meals I had were simple and inexpensive in small restaurants located on the side of the road that served local (TICO) food.
This is truly a very special place on the planet to come to experience 
breathtaking beauty, culture and relaxation.
