Costa Rica is flexing its green muscles in the education of sustainable world values. The World Institute for Sustainability located on the breathtakingly beautiful southern pacific coast of Costa Rica is helping it do just that.

The World Institute for Sustainability and Education at Osa Mountain Village is an educational facility and planned community. Students are taught by Earth University graduates & sustainable-living experts in outdoor classrooms nestled in the most bio-diverse region of the planet. Amidst calls of hundreds of species of birds and animals the dream for a cleaner more sustainable future takes shape.

With an incredible world saving mission to accomplish in just fourteen days, the staff at The World Institute for Sustainability have planned a fully packed curriculum of activities for aspiring green revolution leaders of today. It is an unbelievable bargain.

The curriculum focuses on agro-ecology, alternative building materials, integrated waste management, rainwater harvesting, renewable energy sources, ecotourism and social entrepreneurship.

Students do a community project initiated by the university to create social, environmental and economic benefits for the people of nearby communities.
