Papa G Surf has a daily surf forecast covering the Pacific and Carribean zones in Costa Rica. They publish live, daily Surf Report photos for Hermosa Beach, Playa Nosara (Guiones) and Pavonnes.
The waves are huge!
7/24/09 Central Pacific: For this weekend a pulse of SW swell from 218 degrees increases to produce some hollow overhead peaks for the strong beachbreaks (Hermosa-Bejuco). For the early part of next week we should see a slow fade of SW energy from 217 degrees but there still should be some head high-overhead surf for the premier spots. Around the mid part of next week we should see a slight increase of SW swell from 218 degrees that produces some overhead peaks for the beachbreaks.
Caribbean Side: It looks like there should be a good sized swell that fill in for about the next week or so that produces some overhead surf for the stand out spots.

Great recommendation! I use Papa G’s daily videos to compare surf conditions here in Dominical. It seems both Hermosa and Dominical share very similar conditions. Its great to be able to have a daily video update on the surf!
