Costa Rica Adventure Race 2010, A new race is born in Costa Rica!

For the first time this year, Costa Rica is part of the Adventure Race World Series, as host of the Costa Rica Adventure Race from August 20 to 28th, 2010.
It will be a great event, +500km of extreme racing, in multiple disciplines like mountain biking, trekking, kayaking, ropes and even a traditional local sport as a surprise discipline.
The race will cover a wide variety of landscapes, like beaches, warm ocean, dry forests, rain forests, cloud forest, volcanoes, lakes, and rivers. For family members and other fans we’ve planned a nice vacation package parallel to the race course so they can enjoy the beauties of Costa Rica and still be there to cheer for their favorite teams.
