600 Ticos To Visit Palmares Festival Beginning January 13

In exactly one week the traditional Palmares Festival will kick off in what is known as the largest annual fair, next to Zapote and perhaps the best of all fairs.
The Palmares Festival runs from January 13 to 25 and although it may not happen due to concerns by the Ministerio de Salud on the coming of the second wave of the AH1N1 flu virus, the Asociación Cívica Palmareña assures that all is set.
