29 New Multinationals Settled In Costa Rica In 2010

The CINDE – Coalición Costarricense de Iniciativas de Desarrollo (Costa Rican Investment Promotion Agency)) reports that 2010 was a good year, investment wise, with the decision by 29 multinational corporations to settle in Costa Rica, with an investment of more than us$430 million dollars.
The Coalición says the investment generated 7.450 direct jobs in Costa Rica, representing 11% of all new jobs created in the year.
The director of the CINDE, Gabriela Llobet, said she was pleased with the numbers, exceeding expectations set at the beginning of the year.
